Il dolce far niente

 < Too bad my planner doesn't resemble anything close to this. All morning, I've been crossing things off my never-ending list of things to do.  My next actual place-to-be doesn't call till another hour, so instead of filling the gap with more slashing, I reflect on Julia Roberts wise words from last night's movie, Eat Pray Love. Il dolce far niente, Italian for: the sweetness of doing nothing. Italians are so inquisitive; I'll take their word for it :) 

 essentially what is me at this moment in time.. 

Il Dolce Far Niente.. 

One of my favorite scenes from the movie "Enchanted", which takes place in my favorite place back home - What's also great about this is that I remember getting a glimpse of the actual live filming of this a few years back, because they had blocked off the area for the casting. My curiosity could not be contained from spotting colorful balloons and what looked like a mob of wedding couples from afar!
