At the start of fall break, aside from letting me sleep on his lap and eating slightly melted cookies, Stevie T entertains me with his Carve-A-Pumpkin iPhone app on our commute to New York City, emailing me this handsome devil, hahaha!
RAWRR hahaha! SO CUTE!

So we decide that at the end of fall break, we bring him to life and have our very own Jack-O-Lantern to admire during the month of October ~

So pumpkin picking in PA on our way back to school is a go!

Narrowing down our final 5 candidates (the last one on the far right wins!)

We bring our baby home and begin brainstorming its personality via physical characteristics >:D

Sketching out his face to come ! :)

Carving out his lid and managing PUMPKIN GUTS
BLEGHHHHHHHHHHH

Gru-voice: MY tUrn!
(but i have to say, pumpkin gutting was ACTUALLY the best part, hehe)

Carving is a skill! (fun-sized chocolate Nestle Crunch bars help)

TADA! meet Jack, our fearsome pumpkin who has evidently aged very well on my windowsill the past few weeks ;P

If there were no such things as fire hazards in our residence halls, I would give Jack a well-lit soul -
with the help of Crate & Barrel's Ghost Tealights! How appropriately spooky and in season! Not to mention, TOTES ADORBZ

So I ask you my friends, why do pumpkins never quarrel?
...because they have no stomach for fighting! BAHAHAHA

Happy Halloween
