In life, you can never be sure of where you’re headed sometimes. You can be the biggest control freak in the world and yet, circumstances and surroundings have a way of weaving themselves into a seemingly randomized order, which leaves us thinking, ‘What the hell just happened?’ A moment of sheer happenstance? Or divine intervention?
People change. Surroundings change. Relationships, more often than not, change. Sometimes, change requires a click of a delete button or cropping out the images that no longer fit within our ever-changing lives. As scary as that sounds, sometimes you’ve got to just let go - a career, a lifelong dream, a perception, a song, a lover, a friend. And maybe, just maybe, if you allow your own personal butterflies to spread their wings and fly through the tumultuous winds of change, they’ll come back on their own accord.
And that is exciting.
