It’s always the case that the further away you get from home, the more you start remembering how precious those familiar details are… being woken up by my mom’s prodding to have breakfast. Laying on the bed together with my dad as we watched dramas and variety shows together to pass the time. How during one late night of assignments, after whining to my dad about how tired I was, he took me outside into the brisk night air with my dog tagging along, saying it would help waken me up. I remember walking through the middle of the streets because by then they were deserted and empty - the lamp posts cast shadows over his wrinkled but forever warm face.

It’s so foolish but I think it anyway - If I knew then what I know now…
